With a BFA in Printmaking and a Masters in Public Administration, Rachel Saul Rearick is a creative thinker, finding nuances in places and things. Her primary body of artwork consists of monotypes.
Utilizing line and monochromatic color, she is currently exploring the ways in which spaces and places affect emotion. Rachel uses angles and geometric pattern to draw clear delineations between one idea and another; reducing the viewing area to varied landscapes.
Following her undergraduate work, Rachel did a printmaking residency at Wilson College, leaving work in their permanent collection. Currently, she serves as the Arts and Culture Manager for the Allegheny County Airport Authority.
